Story So Far

Pre-Eorzean History
As Dissidia ended, The Emperor was destroyed once and for all – or so it seemed. He survived by slipping into a Mirror Shard of the Dissidia universe. He survived, and made a deal with Shinryuu of the Mirror. He would bring his everlasting war... in exchange for everlasting life.
The Emperor, however, betrayed the Great Wyrm, slaughtering it for more power – taking its’ very soul, and using it to gain its’ power. (The moral is stop killing dragons.) His mind intact, he turned to conquering versions of his home world.
However, it didn’t take long for him to realise there were so many worlds which could fall to torment – how amusing. Slowly, The Emperor made a new plan.

Ruin all worlds, so that his war will continue forever.

As Null spread more and more, Worlds and Shards began to splinter more and more, becoming more and more chaotic. And at the middle of this Chaos was an Eorzea, opposite to the Source - one which was immune to Null, for it was far too protected by what it was. The residents of the world weren't aware of this, however. (In the Allagan Eras, there were theories that this Shard was safe... but from what or why, it was never written down.)

Meanwhile, this Eorzea didn't quite follow canon. A man called Miscarlet settled in it, but even before he arrived, well... Yda lived as a prisoner of war, and Moenbryda died alongside Louisoix.
Th'ancred Nuhn, the Thancred of this world, also made a desperate deal with an Ascian - to create a child, when he was younger. This child, Th'orli, was the destined Warrior of Light... but was raised separate from him, raised in Darkness.

2.x - A Realm Reborn
Miscarlet began the Free Company, and guided Th'orli though the 2.0 story - until Nero killed her.

Oops. This is when Miscarlet first used his powers, and broke reality. Haurchefant was brought to the world here as the first distortion, turning this world into a nexus by accident - and due to an Ascian Temper Tantrum (tm). At first, he decided - he wouldn't let the Scions know, and he would keep it secret. For he was terrified of them finding out, and harming the now-revived and Ascian-powered Warrior of Light they had mourned. And so, he began to wander between worlds, inviting people to come and join the Judge Magisters.

The first who arrived were people he disliked - Venat, for example - alongside a Carbuncle who used to be a Warrior of Light. Though he did promise that the Company would be a safe habour for everybody. And let Venat wander.

Of course, he had no idea - none of them did - about what would happen with this...

For a long time, the world lingered in this state, because there was no Warrior of Light. Due to this, a man called Albin was formed - to try and get the world moving again, becoming a placeholder.
It was by accident that the Judge Magisters revealed themselves to the Scions - K'pandolu was with Urianger at one point, and as they talked - him excited about another Warrior of Light awakening - Albin arrived and told her that he was an Ascian. (You could say that this was how the Realm was Awoken to the nexus.) Though Miscarlet had vanished - seeking other shards - the Scions welcomed a Warrior of Light... and a now-living Th'orli, as well. Though there's curiosity about multiple Warriors of Light, the Scions appreciate them when Good King Moggle Mog struck. Th'orli was also glad to know her father...

Emmanelle was awoken soon after, fleeing her own world, and joined at this time - very confused and angry. Leviathan was also brought forward by Albin... but was a cursed Edmont, due to multiversal influence. The company managed to restore him, and he was escorted back to Ishgard - leaving a way for the Magisters to visit. Huguette and Emmanelle took the chance quite a bit, giving the Company a good home. Haurchefant also used this to find himself a home in the mountains, to try and save his other self. (He also met Thancred at this point - the Dragon one - and still cares after others, soaring out to meet with them.)
However, deep in the Dravanian wilderness, Miscarlet accidentally (so he says) unearthed two sealed beings. Alisaie and Alphinaud, fused with Bahamut and Phoenix. Alisaie lingered to watch him, and Alphinaud moved to hide in the forgotten Coil entrance in Mor Dhona.

A few months later, Nero joined the group, ripping himself out of the Void - and after getting beaten down, was taken into the Magisters. More and more alters slipped into the world - and Th'ancred totally slept with all the alters of his he could find.
The biggest drama - other then Ramuh being summoned - was clearing Coils. Urianger went with them - and, to his shock, found Moenbryda there trying to find a way in. It's because, while she was roaming and studying, she saw Bahamut again and wanted to find out why. She was already tainted by entering Coils by herself, but ended up being the one who reached out to Bahasaie, and got her to their side. (At this point, none of them knew that this Moenbryda was from another world. First Cycle had been quiet about her death, and the other Scion had kept it to themselves.) They'll figure out why this is happening together.
(Oh, and the Crystal Braves are formed. However, the members of them feel like they're being watched. And they are, by Phoenix.)

Between 2.x and 3.x
During most of 2.4, the Company was trying to avoid Ishgardian silliness - because of Haurchefant being alive, and also a dragon-him in the Company. However, with Iceheart active, they are asked by the Scions to be involved. And this is when they learned... there was no native Haurchefant, it had simply been a fear unfounded. Edmont, however, seemed to be so happy to know these Haurchefant. House Fortemps and the Scions and the Magister were growing very close.

However, meanwhile, the Braves are struck by Phoenix, and so the Company also needs to find out about him and calm him. It ends up being K'pandolu who stops Phoenix, and his illusions of the Braves being tempered - and accidently finding Papalyda as well. Alphinix, as the group call him, scurried to hide inside the Rising Stones.

The Nabriales of this Cycle does appear, however, ready to attack. The group goes to fight him, knowing the truth about their dear Urianger.
Urianger doesn't let Moenbryda die this time, however - borrowing a Dragon Eye from Haurchefant, and with Bahasaie by his side, he destroys the figure he was before (even if it gives him a lot of things to ponder). But Moenbryda still vanishes - her body gone, Miscarlet panics and puts it inside Midgardsohmr. Yeah, that's a thing. She can appear Eorzean, though.

It's around this time that Empress Hawke, the Puppet-Empress of Garlemald, was given her power - for she seemed immune to so many strikes. Emperor Mateus had taken his role as soon as the previous Emperor died.

Urianger finally tells everybody - alongside K'pandolu and a few of the Thancred and Papalyda - about the Ul'dahn incident. There's a large debate over what needs to happen. Some think it should happen, many don't. It's mostly Miscarlet and his paranoid thoughts, since he had never gone to a shard where 2.55 finished.

But they still can't refuse the invite. And so, the Scions and the others go there... and Nero decides to fuck with it. He's grown close to the Scions, you see, and decides td simply unleash his own Void powers to destroy those who dare harm Nanamo and the Scions. Nobody knows Nero is with the Scions, and they send people to fight him. At this point, he was taking a Miqo'te form - and so, he shifts to using Lalafell full-time at this point.

But the Scions are... safe, and they can rest. Nobody has to die. That helps them rest, and the Crystal Braves - those loyal - remain with the Scions. Also, Wilred lived, though he was injured.

However, these Void Powers did fuck with a few of the Scion - with Th'ancred and Y'shtola being pulled into it, and Minfilia being corrupted as well. Nero tried to reform the two Miqo'te, but still feels as if he failed. Not that he cares. This is when Y'shtola gained more awareness of the shard of Zodiark which was her heart - and began to ponder her next move.

3.x - Heavensward
With Huguette, Emmy, Haurchefant, and Honoroit - the Free Company was guided into Ishgard, and Edmont welcomed them all warmly - aware of multiple worlds, and still thankful for saving him from what seemed to be becoming a Primal forevermore.
Using their knowledge - while trying not to seem like a heretic, of course - House Fortemps guided the first defeat of Nidhogg. During this time, Huguette met and fell in love with a heretic Francel, known as the Rose Bandit.

However, not everything went to plan - Albin returned, with a being from another world. This being, who looked like Aymeric, had been raised to become a Primal instead of Thordan - to be his Blade. He stole the eyes, and ran - killing Thordan during it. With his powers, he gave the Heavens' Ward amnesia, and vanished once he realized this wasn't his Ishgard. His duty was to it, and so he would craft this world into his. And so, instead of saving Estinien, the company decided to save this alter Aymeric.

Ishgard was in panic, with sightings of what looked like their new Lord - after the previous one was killed by a monster of ice - around. And so, the Magisters moved in, to seek this kind of person. This is when they met Shiva - no, not Ysayle.

She seemed to be a Primal summoned without anybody wanting it. It creeped out Rose Bandit - for as Ysayle lived as a friend of the company, it really freaked him out that a Primal existed like this.

But using their multiple worlds, they found one where Dragons and Men never got into war - where they were one, and Dalamud never fell. This is when they found out Huguette and the Rose Bandit were actually kidnapped from this world ages ago, and turned to Elezen due to a strange plague. Finding a cure, they got the help of these Tempering-proof dragon people into the main world.

It would take much negotiation - and introducing Ishgard to their state as a multiversal shard - having dragon-esque royalty working alongside Aymeric and the amnesiac Heavens' Ward.

The dragon Haurchefant, having aided until this time, soon found himself meeting with a lady named Rhel and her little sister, Sasaxia. Th'ancred had tracked them down, but Haurchefant put them under his protection.

It took time to track down Halone, as he called himself. During this time, however, there was worry - for those who knew of the future worried for their Mothercrystal. Of those with them, many of them went to go to the land between lands, though the Antitower - and instead of finding what they seeked, they found... nothing. There was no call, no Voice of the Mother. Reasoning it should be researched, Urianger began to focus his study on the connection of the two Gods above the Twelve.

But eventually, they found Halone, and managed to weaken him into a state where he could be taken for healing with Estinien. The two left to far-off lands, to both slowly recover.

Peace reigned. At least, for a time. The Warriors of Darkness, seeking the First, ended up lost in this world - but knowing their world was to be restored, and having their life still exist? This would be their new home.

Between 3.x and 4.x.
However, during this time, Nero had found out there was another Ultima Weapon, buried in this world. When he went to try and get it, the Nulled Lalafell-Lahabrea sent the mini Ultima Weapon after him. Him, K'pandolu, and Cid got involved in trying to save his life... and it didn't work. Nero died, and awoke as full void monster. Cid also became a slime monster. However, they also found parts of Omega - and used these to contact another shard, with a robotic Nero.

A new Haurchefant also appeared at this time, one who'd been lost in the Void of Light. Rhel took him in - for he was her husband. Using her Voidmaster powers, she separated Hyadalyn - or a fragment of Her - and trapped it in this world.

Meanwhile, Th'ancred ran off once he learned Papalymo had been tempered by the Primal Papalyda, and ended up in the Empire. Here, he found his long-lost twin, who had been promoted rather high-up... and a strange Garlean!Urianger has come from a world which he claims is, well... rather bad. This has driven Papalyda to try and push the Company further into reclaiming what they've lost.

Estinien also returned for a time, and Sasaxia turned him into a Moogle. Sasa, no. He left again, angrier. But due to Sasaxia, Papalyda was tamed... for a time. Speaking of tamed, Alisaie and Alphinaud both learned that due to their time fused with Primal, they managed to fuse into one. They were no longer Primal - could this help with others?

And, again, Albin began to plot... not working with Emperor Mateus. These creatures are wrong and he's just a bit of data. He can stop them. Can't he...? And the Urianger of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn is still missing - having vanished around the time the Garlean appeared.
Between 3.x and 4.x.
A meeting was soon organized between Minfilia and the Shard of Light, alongside a new Thancred to the world. However, this didn't go as planned...
