[ Fuck.
Th'ancred Nunh had been captured, as he lingered in the East Shroud. Why had he been there? Rumours it's where Urianger has been killed. If he could find why, then he could... help more.
In Carbuncle form, he had slipped towards the Wall... and gotten knocked out. He had no idea where he awoke, except that he was in a cage, other animals around him. Blood was dried in his fur, and a magic disrupter had been chained to his leg. (Of course, he'd be able to be teleported away... but nobody would do that without warning.)
He was still in Carbuncle form - and there was an armoured man near him. A scent almost familiar came from the armour, but he wasn't thinking of it. No, he was letting out a soft whine, as the armoured man talked to the... other man. Draped in clothes more befitting a performer then any man of Garlemald, he shrugged and pointed to the cage.
It opened, and Th'ancred tried to make himself small and flat against the cage. The armoured man - Prastha - was offered a carrier by the other man - Amon - but all Th'ancred could think was that he had to do something. Anything. ]

On Prasthas' side, though, Th'ancred has moved onto his lap, letting out soft little purrs as well. He's here, it's fine. But then, she sounds embarrassed! ] And what exactly did he say was more adorable about me?
no subject
[He is! And getting scritches, as a good brother should. Prastha grins a little further, though, settling himself.] Hmm… Well, he did mention pouncing…
no subject
[ yes she is teasing. ]
But... it's true. I've... gotten some extra parts.

[His tone's light- but really, only the best would be allowed for Minfilia, in any case!
He sounds wistful when he next speaks, though.]
I wish I could come and see them. How are you managing?
no subject
[ Gifts from her twin cattes - one from each of them. ]
...It's been hard, Prastha. I wish I could tell you everything, but... [ she trails off. He knows why. ] with everybody helping, it's manageable.
no subject
Mm… For another time. [Not over the linkpearl, hopefully- just in case.] That's good- it sounds hard but I know you can manage it.

[ Currently gone. A little sadness enters her voice, before she seems to perk up. ] But you'd not believe the kinds of things it's been teaching me! Not only defense - but it's taught me more about Hyadalyn and Aether! [ excited minfilia wishes she could gush about it.
And then she lets out a soft little excited mew! ] We've both had a hard job - but neither of us need to do it alone anymore.
no subject
But that's a lot better to hear, and he smiles.] Truly? That's good news- it must be helping, then.
[He makes a soft sound in return, nodding.] No- we don't. I'm glad to hear your voice again after this long… We should do it again. Perhaps, even- meet again? I'd like that.
no subject
[ There's suddenly a serious tone. ]
...'Ancred is with you. Even if he's safe-- he's captured, isn't he.
no subject
[If he pulls the right strings… he can probably get some time, or a better position where they can meet…
He bites his lip.]
He'd… been brought in, yes. But I don't think they realised…
no subject
[ With Lahabrea... and, well, their past. ]
If you could arrange something, I would like it. [ A soft rumble. ] It would have been nice if you'd been with the XIVth... before all this chaos, we were raided by them.
no subject
I'll see what I can do. [He murrs, softly.] I don't know what I could have done about it then- but hopefully something… I'm sorry that happened, Minfilia.
no subject
[ She sounds so excited... but she softly sighs. ] It was two years ago. I imagine you haven't... had the best of times, and I am sorry.
no subject
It's… been difficult. But for all of that- we can start to come together again now, can't we?
no subject
...Besides, I have another Thancred who'll be with me, so you don't need to worry either. He's [ well, he was ] a Hyur. It's strange.
And... we can. Perhaps there's a way we could meet in the Shroud.
no subject
A Hyur…? It would be. But- if you're sure…
…mm. The Shroud might be the best spot, considering… [they should both have access.] If I had a posting closer to it, perhaps?
no subject
[ There's a pause, as Minfilia is letting out soft rumbles. They'll meet again, she can hold him and be with him again and he can be proud of her! ]
...If I may ask, where are you stationed?
no subject
[he rumbles back, happy.]
Ah- one of the main castrums, right now.
no subject
...You're that important to them, Prastha... I only wish it didn't need to be that way.
no subject
… I'm not entirely sure how I managed it. I- well, the Empress thinks I'm cute, and I'm not saying she's wrong, but…

I'm sorry - we've just begun to hear each other again, but it's back to work.

[there's a little bit of a sad smile.] I suppose so. But- it's for a lasting peace, isn't it?
